Queen: a journal of rhetoric & power

Topical volumes

Queen: a journal of rhetoric and power was dedicated to critical inquiry and analysis of the rhetorical function of power in any and all contexts. For over 10 years, it was the electronic publishing arm of the Centre for Rhetorics and Hermeneutics, which was dedicated to interdisciplinary exchange on transdisciplinary subjects of real and lasting import.

Queen sought to create an environment of inter-, multi-, transdisciplinary discussion and presentation of ideas that were intentionally experimental. We accepted submission in all media and genres, including photography and slideshows, podcasts, videos, text and hypertext; essays, plays and poetry.  Queen was designed to become the leading electronic journal for the exchange of ideas from among a broad array of approaches, disciplines, ideologies and communicative media about topics and issues that have an impact upon audiences from both inside and outside of academia.
